The Space Suit is used to walk on planets with non-breathable atmosphere after you landed on them.

Prisoner [nickname], we have detected an unauthorized modification of your envelope. However, the ESCorp will not punish you, for our leaders have decided to create a surface mining unit. At the moment, you can only leave your envelope on Soupaline, where the atmosphere is fine for you to go in. The ESCorp will let you test its new DCC-EXT space suit, which will allow you to go around freely outside your envelope on any planet. Reach our agent located in [76][-20] to get your suit.

Well done, prisoner [nickname], you have made the right choice. You are now a member of the ESCorp surface miners. Here are 20 SHC which will help you reach a close planet's surface to start your training.

Details

How to unlock mission: Complete the "Salmeen the Mechanic: Step 2" mission. Then, you need to be a certain distance (approximately 60 sectors) from the origin for this mission to trigger.

How to complete mission: Reach the located coordinates [76][-20] and land there to get the Space Suit.

Reward: You earn the Space Suit and 20 Solid Hydrogen Capsules.

Notes

[76][-20] is located on Cilorile and is rather far away for beginners, because it costs lots of hydrogen capsules to go there.

Heh, I found it funny saying that you'll need the 20 SHC to reach a close planet's surface, when you're ALREADY above a planet :D

I think they ment a planet where you can't normally breathe without spacesuit ;)

I don't know what the guy in the surface building told me because I accepted too quickly... I thought I got stuck with an escort mission, but it seemed that I accepted the mission... Upon completion the mission said: Well done, prisoner BFal, you have made the right choice. Maybe he gave me a choice of accepting an escort and if I didn't I wouldn't get the suit?... No idea ... Can't see the chat anywhere... :)

hi, im' italian, so my english is not very good..
so..

i've completed Salmeen step 2, also AR.57, and now i'm going to Moltear for OX-Soldier ball...but the mission "Space Suit" doesn't appear...I tried travel till karbonis belt and then I came beck near the origin..but nothing..the mission doesn't appear..
what should I do ???

simply go for the 76/-20 coordinates and the mission will appear till you get there, cause you dont have to be farer from origin than the spacesuit is. For me it was 61 sectors from origin when the mission appeared so i will add "at least 60 sectors" information as unconfirmed and when someone gets the mission on same distance he can confirm it

This mission was unlocked for me when I reached [49][20]. I didn't think I was far enough from [0][0] to unlock the mission. :O

I believe that [49][20] counts as 49+20=69 sectors away from the origin.

Oh, I was thinking about it as similar to the forum's weak signal conditions. (I thought this mission would trigger when either the X value, or the Y value of my coordinates was less than -60, or more than 60.)
